Mohamed Azazy
Product Designer · Cairo
I design products, and I write the front-end code for a lot of them too. Right now that means payments at Kashier: terminals, dashboards and the design system behind them.

About
I design it, then I help build it
I'm Mohamed, a product designer in Cairo. For the last few years I've been at Kashier, an Egyptian payments company, where most of what I design ends up on a shop counter or a merchant's laptop.
I like cutting things. Most screens get better when you take something away, and the bits that are left (the type, the spacing, how a button reacts when you press it) are what people actually notice.
I also write code, so I don't hand over a Figma file and hope. I work in the codebase next to the engineers, and what ships looks like what we designed.
